Soulja Boy Tell'em has one of the hottest dance songs of 2007 " Crank that Soulja Boy". Soulja Boy's real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, and was born in 1990 so we'll call him a youngin' for all intents and purposes. Soulja Boy came off the line with smoking tires but his hit single " Crank that Soulja Boy" will not have enough momentum to carry album sales. Soulja Boy's next single will be "Soulja Girl featuring I-15", mellow track with decent vocals for the chorus. Soulja Boy Tell'em was released in stores on 10/02/07. Traditional Hip Hop gurus are saying that artist like Soulja Boy has a questionable place in Hip Hop. Take a broad look at the evolution of Hip Hop and break it down into different genres, thus making room for various styles of Hip hop as time goes on. When comparing Soulja Boy's debut album to Lil Bow Wow or Lil Romeo's debut albums, Soulja Boy comes up short.

Overall I would say the single "Crank that Soulja Boy" is work the buy however the Soulja Boy Tell'em album is below average and not worth the money even if the price is right.
