I'm 24, and a current online college student. I'm seeking a BA in Social Sciences with a concentration on English/Language Arts. I have had my poetry published in my high school literary magazine a few times, but not anywhere else really substantial. When I write, I feel all my emotions on paper/computer, it's a great form of self-discovery for me and helps release stress and anxiety I may feel. I live in Mesa, Arizona, enjoy walks in cooler weather, swimming, reading, watching movies, and just enjoying life.

They who eat the stars are unhappiest by far
Lovers kiss and die
Hate and cry
For all the lies that they impregnate in the womb of distrust and disloyalty
Wondering where it will leave them
Cold and empty
Lost and forgotten
True love burns and tears at the heart like a serrated blade
Yet we yearn for it just the same
