::: A Poetic Protest :::

It is a poetic sensibility that seeks to be free from
the all to pervasive immobility of moving through
space and time tied down by bucolic pursuits of a
"being" never quite manifested into lived experience.
Only under shallow showers am I fully able to sing my
frustrated song of malevolent convictions towards the ways
of this world that I have found myself writing in to avoid ulcerations of
mind and spirit, always arguing against forces that want me to quell
my poetic ambitions for the quietude of hearth or home.
It is a poetic sensibility that sees the trappings all around manifest in
clear channel color convincing us of a magnificent dream to be
lived through materializing the flesh and commodifying spirit.
And so I am always running further away in my mind from creating
solutions for struggle because I am well aware that it is only when crushed
that we bring forth what is best in us and it is now
that what is best in us must be brought forth!
