MacKinzey was born in Houston, Texas in 1983. Her mother was a journalist/educator and her father was an entrepreneur. Much of her life was spent abroad due to her mother’s job. She was fortunate enough to live in places such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Korea and Germany as well as visiting places such as Japan, France, England and Belgium. She has one older sister and one younger brother. MacKinzey graduated with her B.A. degree in Hospitality Management in 2006 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Education with specialization in Adult Education and Training, graduating in February of 2009. She currently resides with the love of her life, Sadie Mae, a 6-month-old rescue Pit/Retriever mix that brings her daily joy and stinky wet kisses. |
