It's in the eyes...
that gaze that takes me in
like invisible hands...
fingers
that pick up my chin
and make me look back...
that first moment of
contact...
shock...
breath quickly inhaled...
eyes widened
then
slowly dawns comprehension.
Yes... I see you...
Yes... draw closer...
come into my space
enter my world...
stay a while...
I have been waiting for you.
