My minds eye was focused on my dealings,
monuments not yet made, and a voice saying you will never be done.

I gave my life for your advancement,
I gave my last breathe to your success,
I gave everything within my power, so you can stand taller and grander among the rest,

And when I gave my last drop of blood for your completion
I finally saw what I have won,
I looked back onto my creation with no satisfaction and asked myself, What have I become?
