Seemed your body, eternally fresh
When taught me you the delights of your flesh
Were you but a kitten
Inspiration to so many words written
Was I but a friendly imagination
Who found in thee a temptation
But to my discontent, a Kitten strayed
When wished I she stayed

Someday again, I'll see her
I feel certain of that
But where I once saw a Kitten
Will I now see a cat?

Will hopingly I pursue
Looking for a Kitten I once knew?
