Ears of self destruction: drugs and suicide,
Heart attack teeth, auto immune disease mouth,
Lines of organ failure and the tongue of starvation,
The hair of eternal sleep
OH accident!

Heart of disappointment
Disappointed heart
Beating its beats beaten down trodden
Lift, lift up like a ski lift lifts
Legs dangling in the cold over the white
Lift, lift up like a hot air balloon
Life guided in a wicker basket by a giant roaring flame
Lift, lift up like an Alien abduction in a beam of light

Little hands, please
Remove the face of death
Take off the head
Just be the body
Like some starfish missing an arm
An arm that was recently removed and is already regenerating
And the lone broken piece becoming another starfish too
Clinging to the rocks in the rough sea
