Lynsey is a college student in her senior year. She has been writing, drawing, performing and enjoying music for as long as she's been able to. The arts have grown to become a crucial part of her life. With age come new experiences, and over the past few years, Lynsey has started to dabble in photography, experimenting with her digital camera and basic editing tools. Drawing and writing are two of Lynsey's main passions, and she would love nothing more than to have a full-time job in which she can utilize her talents for one or both.

He was dark. Enchanting. Deep. He embodied everything she wasn’t. Perhaps that’s what drew her to him, in the first place. His mysterious face, obscured by cobwebs in the dark. The image stained her mind. At night, she swore it was him who penetrated her. His fingers entangled in her hair. His warm voice whispering her name as she screamed out for him, silently.

In her dreams, she held him tightly in her arms. He said nothing, as she’d imagined he would. She loved him. She was quite sure of that. She didn’t know quite why, and whether or not he loved her back was of no consequence. But he consumed her. Consumed her thoughts, her dreams. He resided restlessly inside of her head.

She called him hers, and he remained silent. As the two of them laid twisted together in her cold linens, she could barely make out his heartbeat, beneath his warm bare skin. Her fingertips drifted lightly through wisps of black hair, and the word ‘mine’ fell from her lips in a whisper, landing on the cool twilight. He never said so, but he was hers for always. And somehow she knew.
