I thank my God
For all that he’s done
Out of three thousand gods
I’ve picked the right one

Don’t question me
I’ve searched all the rosters
With the exception of one
It’s full of impostors

I glided by those
Who said that they flew
I skipped on a Nike
And kicked off a Shu

There were dragons of China
And some from Japan
But everyone knows
That god is a man

There was ten of the wind
And twelve of the sea
But blow them right off
And just listen to me

From those who have wings
You must certainly stray
Don’t follow that Atlas
I’ll show you the way

A god who’s a tree
Snuck onto the list
I was laughing so hard
I was biting my fist

The choices are silly
Sadistic and mystic
Except for that one
That’s most realistic

I’ll give you his name
If you’ll just listen
He’ll forgive your past
And your future will glisten

What’s that you say!
Oh no! That’s the worst!
By choosing no god
You are certainly cursed!

Don’t be such a fool
At least take a chance
Just look at the list!
Just one little glance!

Even picking the tree
Will better your odds
For your own sake, please!
Just pick one of the gods!

You musn’t ignore me!
You can’t just pick none!
I told you I know
Who hung up the sun!

For saving your soul
I’m waiving the fee
You’ve got nothing to lose
I’ll tell you for free!

Three thousand to one
The odds on our side
Three thousand to one

With god on our side
It’s not a debate
Don’t question the math
Those questions of yours
Will bring on the wrath

The problem is finished
The math has been done
One hundred percent
Is three thousand to one.
