Take away my sunshine.
Drown me in your rage.
Take away my blue skies and
only night becomes my friend.
It’s useless you see. To vanish
My ego. I’m a nocturnal being.
I like to do damage at night.
Where my sins are greeted in the
shadows I play; the most dangerous
of games.
To awake in the sun; I simple draw
the shades.
Sunshine rays don’t come this way.
I hate the truth your light gives way.
I don’t want the shame.
