Paris Hatchett

Born June 28th 1985. Raised in New Jersey all of childhood before moving to New York City as an adult. The young poet is still growing as a person and as a writer. A witty non-traditional thinker way ahead of his time. When you think of Paris think of a modern day libertine think about where poetry used to be and where it is now. The young man only lives to be acknowledged as a great poet by other poets. The more support from his piers the better his writing.

You inspired and quickly expired
Ideas turn to feelings
Feelings felt what the reality was
A vain inhumane society
All of us victims in a world of classes
There I am standing out against the masses
I still talk without responses
I’m still social without friends
I’m in love without a lover
I’m still the militant solider undercover
What changes us?
Is it me? Is it you? Is it time? Is it distance?
I’ll win tomorrow if not today I have persistence
You’ll never know what you do to me
