::: America - Again :::
Dear America,
You watched me grow and stumble through your obstacle course, you gave me journeys through life and through your public school systems,
America you give me light and you give me dark, and in some places I actually feel safe when I walk in the park
America I love you, but what are you doing to your citizens? Why have you programmed them not to care?
Your so called leaders are liars,
America your at war!
I wish I could pick you up gently and carry you home
A good number of your citizens live in a fantasy America, They don’t want to work they want to be famous,
They want attention, they want sex in all holes
And you give them everything they want, America
But then they want more-
Wow, America is greed
I love you America but you f*cking embarrasses me
A good number of your citizens are sick, we went to the hospital but got turned away at the door because we didn’t have health insurance
A good number of your citizen are hurt, confused, and angry
Your media and leaders pulled out their scare tactics and spoon fed the nation bullsh*t
America what the f*ck?!
Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately
You’re overweight and you won’t cut your hair
America I love you although you handed me a nervous breakdown
I packed up and left town - left country!
I speak, but would you ever listen, America?
Or would you just shelter yourself in your bubble?
Would you ignore the cries that come from inside?
Just Another question in the mark of a tear
I love you America but I don’t f*cking trust you
I love you America but I’ll never f*cking fear you
America, please don’t think that you’ll always be around
Your citizens love you, but always remember: If President Kennedy can get popped, anything can happen.
