If I will not accept what you of me,
And get rid of that look of suspense
Because I won't receive what you want me to be
There are things - some say I can't do
As well as that, which I won't be able to achieve
If they want to think it's impossible
Fine, but I'll have hope and believe
They'll say you won't be able to make it
And that times will be rough
But my desire is not to quit
And to me that's good enough
So I say, "I have a mind of my own"
My vision will see me through
For negativity is how you've been known
