Above The Grave

Death is such a touchy task.
How do we mourn the ones that pass?
Do we give remorse or cash?
To help their living remnants last.
Their memory’s are bitter sweet,
Some have some tears role off their cheek,
Others seem to be complete,
And smirk at the sight of the deceased.
The bedded box
Is sealed and locked.
Ready for the corpse to rot.
With in time they’ll be forgot
Until the next funeral plot.
