One word changed everything.
I held it in my heart,
you gave it wings,
and I have been airborne
ever since.
Veracity
does not matter,
the proof shines out of me
again and again
from unexpected directions.
This is Life.
I have come into
the sun, dodge
the shadows,
turn on my heel
and dare them to follow.
Who would think
who would hope
for what my plate carries now?
Not I, never
I.
And I have never
been happier
to be wrong.
