Found him

As silent
as a rainbow
when I did not know
it had rained,
I looked up,
and my breath
was gone.
There were deep eyes
that looked,
deeply, saw
me. Held
me frozen
as Lot’s wife.
How, how
did this happen,
I asked.
We
had no answer, either
one of us.
A hundred things
were said,
and I thought
”Yes, I know this too”
a thousand more
still wait
to be expressed.

One moment
the sky is brilliant
and we cannot turn
our heads away,
to say “O Look! “
It fades away
that fast.

And so did you.
And so did you.
