CA-2007- Author and Poet Violet Monday's new book, Blood Splattered on the Paper, offers a truly unique approach to poetry reflecting on life's difficulties, pleasures, and pains. Many different kinds of narratives, insights, and short stories about life experiences, laughter, drama, murder, humor, love, inspirational, and some urban styles of poetry. Some of the poems might make you laugh or make you stop and think, saying (that has happened to me or I been there).

This is Violet Monday's first Poetry book, and she has been writing all of her life, so it is only natural that she would create a documented account on her observation on life.

A lone
Al one
All one
One

The shallowness seeps into the newfound friends
They return to the bedroom to form a group
A clique
Only to form a clique within the clique
Full of dry emotion that is propelled by the fulfillment of popularity,
Bubbly thoughts, produced smiles, exaggerated stories of boyfriends and their kisses, stimulating conversations about the gap, old navy, and banana republic,
How profound!?!
so lucky
such a giddy group of friends
