She is one of a kind
She is everything in everyway

I have experienced her hidden love

Desperate Cry

Here behind the walls inside
A zillion miles of fear we hide
Icy dreams fill empty souls

Anne

Anne gives nothing to me
Except a few moments of careful thought
And this is priceless
Anne likes to get lost
Sometimes I find myself wandering
As she makes circles around me
But I follow her like a pup
As I’m stuck wondering
If she’ll ever see the real me
I love you Anne!
Anne is not in love with me
But she has some love for me
Her main man beats her down
Anne runs back to him for more
After all she’s lost
I can understand that is
Anne’s way to learn
I love you Anne!
Anne said she doesn’t like to be alone
So I gave her everything I had
It’s clear to see
Where her friends come from
They only call if something is needed
Seems to me that she’ll always be alone
Except in the moments of love from on high
This fills my heart so I never need to worry
Knowing that her children are watching over her
And His love guides her to Him
I will always love my Anne and her children.

You’re Fine

Pushed forward into a room full of blank faces. White walls, white floors, white ceilings, numbing white lights. Lives being changed forever in this emotionless pit. Souls being intentionally killed with the help of one little kit. Wheeled in, snipped and probed, it’s like a f*cking assembly line. Wake up, wipe the blood and tears, nurse says coldly, “you’re fine”. “You’re Fine”

Wander

Did you find a new bridge
Did you make it across
Did you give it a chance
Or was it another loss

Souls

Souls,
The journey inward Leads to success of life
But some need to lose
And change their souls
Behind a curtain
You find a contestant Some of importance

We meet the natural monster It develops and tends garden

As we accept all dialogue

Written in 2006 during an extreme manic-state locked inside the psych ward. What this poem says to me is that I understand that I don’t understand and I’m cool with that.

In Him I Trust

IN HIM I TRUST I’ve given up everything
Just for a taste of love
Looking back I’m carefree
With YOU above
In HIM I trust
I stand here looking out My prison cell window
I see nothing out there

Eighty-five cents
I come to you
I come to you
I got a blank check with insufficient funds in my bank
I got a credit card with the balance overdrawn
I got eighty-five cents in my pocket and to my name
I got a half tank of gas and I’m smoking my last cigarette
I’m driving on that long empty highway road to you
Baby, all that I need is you

A true story written while on the road to my girlfriend’s house many years ago.

The One Upstairs

The ONE upstairs loves HIS children on earth
Although we cannot see HIM, HE never leaves us
Only a few share HIS great divine secret
Now and then HE dresses up as man and comes downstairs.

Lucky for us GOD loves HIS creation so much
Through endless time HE has worn many coats
HE comes down among us for a while
Just for the sake of HIS children on earth.

A few share HIS secret while HE’S downstairs as man
He stays with us and plays with us
Laughs and suffers with us
GOD is ONE, the ONE and only, HE alone exists!!!

Trust in HIM by leaving all results entirely to HIM
Don’t worry, be happy. When HE drops HIS human form
It just means HE’LL be back again when we really need HIM
My heart belongs to HIM and to the moon and stars
Listen to the sound of the song bird within
Even when other people say it can’t done.

LOVE is available to everyone forever and ever!!!

This poem means more to me now than when I wrote it twenty years ago. The Rich Love Band says “don’t let drugs; mental-illness or other people stop your wildest dreams!!!”
