Jason Sims
Born February. 6, 1980
I began writing at the age of 10, it became my therapy to escape or just express myself.
I lived a harsh child hood, I kept many things to myself, maybe because I just didn't how to talk about it so I put everything in writing.
I was heavily influenced by music and the stories I heard thru music.
Just like many songwriters and even rappers, writing poetry became my way to talk to the world, sometimes just for me.
My style of writing has a rhythm to it seeing that I was influenced by different types of music including hip-hop.
Today I’m 28 years old and still have a lot to say, every day that goes by is a new experience.

Silky skin, beautiful face
and it's not just the size of your waist.
Something in your eyes had me mesmerized
Then I heard your voice and my blood pressure rose.
I'm sure you hear these words all the time
but I have to figure out how to get inside...of your mental
I think I’m fallin in love with your intellectual.
I don't mean to make this conversation sexual
but your physical is also making me want to get next to you.
I love the way you handle yourself
more than anything else she's a keeper is what I keep saying to myself.
What was your last boyfriend like so I wont make the same mistakes
I just want to make sure all your pain is erased.
What do I have to do to win your affection
Don't leave me in the dark, don't keep me guessing.
Do you like walks in the park and holding hands
scream out to the world that I’m your man.
Do you like love letters and romantic nights
getting cozy on the couch and turn off all the lights.
Whatever it is just let it be known
I’m just trying to make the queen of my throne.
