I have lived a brutal life.
I've slept on the beach
with a knife and fishwife.
Loved against the wind
on a cardboard skid
with a bottle of gin
and a bonfire of hate.
Spent decades imprisoned
in my hurricane addictions.
Laid on the biting steel
bed which I had made.
Show mercy on this
broken boned shell
of a man. There is not
