::: What is Not to Love? :::

The last days of spring sweep
by the cats and rose petals
simply in love with life.
And what is not to love?
Evening jazz on the lawn
with a blanket and bottle.
Smoking a joint with my girl
until the stars shine.
So, why did I go for a drive
and not come home for days?
And how did I end up at this bar
hanging onto joy's last call?
